Vienna Design Week 2026

Ten-day multidisciplinary design festival from 25 September to 4 October 2026 in Vienna, marking the 20th anniversary edition.

The 2026 edition centers on the festival's twentieth anniversary and is headquartered at Festivalzentrale, an office tower near the Unter-St.-Veit metro station in Vienna. Programming includes curated exhibitions such as Moving Materials and the group show Focus: Die Essenz der Leichtigkeit, alongside the Stadtarbeit social design open call and the Biofabrique Vienna material research challenges. The festival was founded in 2006 and describes itself as one of the major curated design events in Europe.
