Workshop Nº 25 Letterpress at Salt & Cedar

A hands-on letterpress workshop covering hand-setting movable type and printing on a Vandercook cylinder press, taught by Megan O’Connell.

The workshop takes place at a small letterpress atelier in the Marais and introduces participants to hand-setting type using a collection of vintage French fonts on a manual Vandercook cylinder press. Attendees set and print a short phrase, with the option to collaborate on shared layouts or work individually. It takes place the day after the Now26 conference and offers a discount when combined with a conference ticket. All materials are provided, and the session runs for six hours including a lunch break.
